The Introspection Collection

The Introspection Collection began as an exploration of layering textures and turned into a fascination with the figurative form. Bringing each figure to life through the use of light and shadow using only a palette knife. Each figure gradually emerged and became a source of reflection on not only the figure itself but the mood it evokes.

I had the privilege to show 4 of these works at two different juried art shows. Seeing reactions and hearing how others were moved by the art in person is one of the best experiences as an artist. All paintings in this collection have now sold.
